ZZZZ - About Michelle Zanga of ZangaBird Studios

Way back in 1999, Michelle Zanga had the opportunity to house and petsit over the winter in Buena Vista CO.  Having recently completed her studies at Western State College in Gunnison (now Western Colorado University) she was Happy to have some unscheduled time.  She spent her days creating mixed media (mostly watercolor, colored pencil and fabric) pieces then photocopied them and created prints and greeting cards. She called this venture "CB Card CO" in honor of her time in the Gunnison Valley and Crested Butte.  For the next several years, she kept this little creative endeavor in her pocket... always hoping to turn it into a bigger part of her Life.

Surge ahead to 2018 and living in southern New Hampshire, she set up her first online store "ZangaHouse" - trying to sell her art online.  Fly ahead again to 2022 and a move to Maine, where ZangaHouse was reworked and became the basis of ZangaBird.  

ZangaBird offers colorful and abstract designs on a variety of products.  We are especially pleased with the fact that these products are made on an order by order basis, eliminating the environmental issues of mass produced goods that often end up unused.  Plus, this also ensures that the designs tend to be more unique than a design that is sold in many retail locations.
